It wasn’t easy but I finally managed to tackle my closet. The weather has been so whacky here lately. When it cooled off for a few days last week I felt inspired to go through my fall & winter wardrobe. I immediately pulled out a lot of things and took them to a local consignment shop where I will earn 40% of what they sell it for. The last several weeks we have been trying to declutter our house and lives. Even though we made good progress in both ends we still have a long way to go. A few months ago Mr DailyGrindFree talked to me about minimalism.  I had read about minimalism as a home decorating style but that was the extent of my knowledge.

He went through different rooms asking what all he could get rid of.  I went into full blown internal panic mode.  I like my stuff.  I don’t want to get rid of any of it.  I have been saving that because I know I will need it some day.  I’m not a hoarder or anything but to put it simply….
