For some reason, it felt like the whole month of October went by too fast. Nonetheless, it is over and it is time for another expense report. Good news is we didn’t face any unexpected expenses in the month of October. The total number was relatively low compared to some of the previous months. Let’s hope that we can keep it this way for the coming months.

This was one of the warmest Septembers I had to endure. During September, we at least managed to sneak in a few days of vacation in Boston where the temperatures were in 60s when it was 90+ where we live. I am so ready for the fall. But it doesn’t seem like it wants to be here anytime soon. 🙂 This would come as a shocker. But we are starting next week with 3 days of mid and lower 80s. But the good news is we didn’t have any unexpected expenses in the month of September – just the short vacation to Boston. We are hoping to keep it this way for the coming months.

Net Worth Update: July 2, 2017

Continuing with the same investment strategy resulted with another month of moving the right direction – barely. We continued to make our regular mortgage payments, kept depositing $300 every Thursday to Vanguard taxable account (missed one week due to switching bank accounts), added $1500 to my 457 retirement account and continued to make a few bucks from other investments & side hustles.
